You’re used to being the one who holds it all together…
but right now, it feels harder than it should.
If you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or not like yourself after having a baby—you’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure this out by yourself.
This is a space for postpartum therapy and support—designed for moms who are used to holding it all together, but are feeling overwhelmed right now.
This may be a good fit if:
You’re the one people don’t usually worry about—but lately, you feel like you’re barely holding it together
Your mind feels busy, loud, or hard to shut off
You feel on edge, overwhelmed, or more irritable than you want to be
You’ve had moments where you wonder, “why does this feel so hard?”
You’re used to feeling capable… and this feels unfamiliar
What the consultation call is:
A relaxed 15-minute conversation
A chance to share what’s been going on
A space to ask questions and get a feel for how I work
This is not a commitment to therapy—just a first step to see if this feels like the right support for you.
What happens after you book:
You’ll choose a time that works for you
You’ll receive a confirmation email with simple next steps
We’ll meet for a relaxed 15-minute call to talk through what’s been going on and see if this feels like a good fit
If we decide to move forward, I’ll walk you through what ongoing support could look like—so you can make the best decision for yourself.
So many moms I work with say some version of:
“I thought I’d handle this better.”
The truth is—postpartum anxiety, overwhelm, and intrusive thoughts are incredibly common.
And they don’t mean anything is wrong with you as a mom.
They usually mean:
→ you’re carrying a lot
→ your nervous system is overwhelmed
→ and you’ve been trying to push through without enough support
What it’s like to work together
Our work is gentle, practical, and focused on helping you feel like yourself again.
We’ll focus on:
calming the constant mental noise
understanding your anxiety (instead of fighting it)
learning how to actually rest without guilt
making space for you again—not just everything you’re responsible for
This isn’t about fixing you.
It’s about supporting you.Sessions are offered virtually for moms in Texas and Colorado.
About
Hi, I’m Alison Hartman, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Texas & Colorado.
I specialize in providing therapy to moms during pregnancy and postpartum who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or not like themselves.
For over six years, my clinical work has focused almost exclusively on supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, and the early years of motherhood. I’ve worked with many moms navigating postpartum anxiety, intrusive thoughts, depression, birth trauma, pregnancy loss, infertility, and the many identity shifts that come with becoming a mother.
I work especially well with moms who are used to feeling capable, responsible, over-achievers, sometimes a bit “type A”—and are quietly struggling more than they expected to.
Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to hold it all together.
You don’t have to keep doing this on your own.
You can start with a free 15-minute consultation to see if this feels like a good fit—no pressure, just a gentle chat.
Most moms I talk to say they almost didn’t reach out—but are really glad they did.
Limited consultation spots available each week.
