Support for Pregnancy, Postpartum, and the Emotional Transition into Motherhood

Motherhood can be deeply meaningful—and very overwhelming.

Many women expect to feel joy during pregnancy and after their baby arrives. But the reality is often more complicated. Anxiety can increase. Moods can shift. You might not feel like yourself leaving you confused and frustrated.

You might find yourself wondering:

  • Why do I feel so anxious all the time?

  • Why does everything feel so overwhelming?

  • Why don’t I feel like the version of myself I used to be?

If this sounds familiar, you are not alone.

I specialize in supporting women navigating anxiety and depression during pregnancy and postpartum, helping them find relief, regain clarity, and feel more grounded as they move through this transition into motherhood.

Whether you’re looking for ongoing support or a focused intensive session, there are a few different ways we can work together.

Pregnancy & Postpartum Therapy

Ongoing support for anxiety, depression, and emotional overwhelm Individual therapy provides a consistent space to process what you’re experiencing and develop tools to help you feel more stable, confident, and supported. In our work together, we may focus on: Managing anxiety and racing thoughts Navigating postpartum depression or mood changes Adjusting to the identity shift of becoming a mother Processing birth experiences or unexpected challenges Strengthening coping strategies and emotional resilience Therapy can be helpful during pregnancy, in the early postpartum months, or even years into motherhood. Sessions are offered via secure telehealth for women located in Texas and Colorado.

Pregnancy & Postpartum Intensives

Current intensive offerings include:

Postpartum Planning Intensive (60 Minutes)

A proactive consultation for pregnant women who want to prepare emotionally for the postpartum season. Together, we identify potential risk factors, early warning signs, and create a personalized postpartum mental health plan.

Postpartum Reset Intensive (3 Hours)

A focused therapeutic session designed for women experiencing anxiety or depression during pregnancy or postpartum who want deeper support and a clear path forward.

Focused, extended sessions designed for clarity and momentum

Sometimes you need more time and focused support than a traditional therapy session allows.

Therapy intensives offer extended, uninterrupted time to explore what you’re experiencing, gain clarity, and develop a structured plan moving forward.

This format can be especially helpful if you want:

Faster insight into what you’re experiencing

A structured plan for managing anxiety or depression

Focused support without committing to weekly therapy right away

Not Sure Where to Start?

If you’re unsure which option would be the best fit, a brief consultation call can help us determine the most supportive path forward.

During this conversation, we can discuss what you’re experiencing, answer questions, and explore whether therapy or an intensive would be most helpful for you right now.

what is a therapy intensive?

A therapy intensive is an extended session that allows us to spend more focused time addressing what you're experiencing.

Instead of meeting for a traditional 50–60 minute session each week, intensives provide uninterrupted time to explore concerns more deeply, gain clarity, and develop a structured plan moving forward.

This format can be especially helpful during pregnancy and postpartum, when emotional challenges such as anxiety or depression can feel overwhelming and you want meaningful support sooner rather than later.

Some women choose intensives because they want focused guidance in a single session. Others use them as a starting point before transitioning into ongoing therapy.

Both options offer valuable support—the difference simply lies in the structure and amount of time we spend working together at once.

Support During Motherhood Matters

Many women believe they should be able to handle everything on their own during pregnancy and postpartum.

But motherhood is a profound life transition. Seeking support during this time is not a sign that something is wrong—it’s a step toward caring for yourself and your family.

When mothers feel supported, everything begins to shift.
