  • A birth planning session

  • A substitute for medical care

If you’re currently struggling with significant anxiety or depression, ongoing therapy may be a better fit.

Why This Matters:

Postpartum mood disorders often begin quietly.

Preparation doesn’t eliminate vulnerability —
but it significantly reduces panic when something feels off.

Instead of wondering:
“Is this normal? Am I okay?”

You’ll have a plan.

You’ll know what to look for.
You’ll know what to do.
You’ll know who to call.

3 hour Postpartum Reset Intensive

For When You’re Already in It

You might be:

Crying more than you expected

• Identify whether ongoing therapy is recommended

You’ll leave with:

✔ A written summary and plan
✔ Personalized coping tools
✔ A clearer understanding of your symptoms
✔ Immediate next steps

Not sure?

Not sure which intensive is right for you?

Book a 15-minute consultation call and we’ll decide together.

As a therapist specializing in anxiety and depression during pregnancy and postpartum, I’ve found that extended sessions allow for deeper clarity and faster relief than traditional weekly therapy alone.

Instead of small weekly pieces, we create meaningful momentum in a single day.

Because when you’re in the postpartum season, you don’t always have months to wait for relief.

I offer a limited number of intensives per month to ensure focused, high-quality care.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • If you are pregnant, between 28 and 36 weeks.

  • We can talk about that together. This session can stand alone or be the first step.

  • Intensives are not a replacement for ongoing therapy.

They are designed to provide focused, structured support in a single extended session. For some women, an intensive provides enough clarity and stabilization on its own. For others, it becomes a strong starting point before transitioning into weekly therapy.

If ongoing therapy would be helpful, we will discuss next steps together.

  • Intensives are offered as private pay services and are not billed to insurance.

Because these are extended sessions and structured differently than traditional weekly therapy, most insurance plans do not reimburse for this format. If appropriate, a superbill may be available upon request; however, reimbursement is not guaranteed.

Private pay allows us to focus fully on your care without limitations imposed by insurance requirements.

  • Intensives are currently offered via secure telehealth.

This allows you to receive support from the comfort of your home — especially important during pregnancy and postpartum. If in-person sessions become available in the future, this page will be updated.

  • You do not need to meet a certain threshold of suffering to deserve support.

Many women schedule intensives because they feel something is off, even if they can’t fully name it yet. If you’re questioning whether you need support, that curiosity alone is often worth exploring.

If you’re unsure which option fits best, you’re welcome to schedule a brief consultation call and we can decide together.

  • The Reset Intensive is best scheduled when you are noticing:

    • Persistent anxiety or racing thoughts

    • Low mood or frequent tearfulness

    • Increased irritability

    • Difficulty sleeping beyond typical newborn patterns

    • A sense that you are not feeling like yourself

You do not need to wait until things feel severe. Early support often leads to faster stabilization.

If you are experiencing thoughts of harming yourself or others, please seek immediate emergency care, as intensives are not designed for crisis intervention.

  • Intensives are structured differently than traditional weekly sessions.

They involve extended, uninterrupted therapeutic time, focused assessment, real-time intervention, and a personalized written plan. The depth and momentum created in a 3-hour intensive often accelerates clarity and stabilization in a way that weekly therapy cannot always provide in the same timeframe.

This format is designed for women who want focused, high-impact support.

  • For many women, the value of an intensive lies in gaining clarity, relief, and direction quickly — rather than waiting weeks or months to feel progress.

Early intervention during pregnancy or postpartum can reduce the severity and duration of anxiety or depression. Many clients find that having a structured plan and immediate support provides significant relief and confidence moving forward.

If you’re unsure whether it’s the right fit financially or clinically, a consultation call can help you decide.
