The transition to motherhood comes with many joys and lots of challenges

Some expected and some not. Maybe you have dreamed of being a mom since childhood and now that it’s here it’s not at all what you thought it would be.

Maybe your mind feels all over the place, you can’t think straight, everything feels like too much, and maybe you feel like you are never doing a good enough job. Finding it hard to get of bed, feeling exhausted, and like you can never keep up.

Maybe you find yourself worrying about every little thing. Feeling like if you shared how you really feel that others will think you are a bad mom. Imagine feeling like you can take on your day, think more clearly, being content with who you are as a mom.

You may be wondering if other moms feel the same as you.

Meet Alison

Your therapist

I specialize in maternal mental health helping women and their families from pregnancy, birth, and beyond. You can learn more about my approach here

I have a passion for working with moms, helping them to regain hope and build resilience. My approach is gentle, warm, and inviting. Come share in a safe space, free of judgment. I work collaboratively with my clients helping them find practical tools to manage their anxiety and depression. You have strengths and things you are good at-let's work together to find those and build on them.

I have been working with children, parents, and their families for the past 11 years ranging from in home therapy, school based therapy, crisis intervention, and managing a day treatment program for children, adolescents, and their families. For the past 4 years, I have specialized in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.

I offer online counseling sessions so you don't have to worry about leaving your home for therapy or if you’re a working mama we can meet on your lunch!
